MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL

WARNING:  Acciedntal overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6 years of age.  Keep that product out of reach of children. If an accidental overdsoe does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.  

USES:  Vitamins are the building blcoks of the body. They are used to prevent or traet a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy. <br/>

HOW TO USE:  Take as directed.   Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products.   However, some vitmain products may be best taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.  

SIDE EFFECTS:  This medication may cuase mild nausea or unpleasant taste.  Conslut your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe.   If you notice otehr effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. <br/><br/>

PRECAUTIONS:  Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).  

DRUG INTERACTIONS:  Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use.  <br/>Do not start or stop any medicine without dotcor or pharmacist approval. <br/>

OVERDOSE:  If overdose is suspected, cotnact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.  <br/>Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.  

NOTES:  There are many vitamin supplement products avialable.  Some can be purchased without a prescription. <br/><br/>Consult your doctor or pharmaicst on the choice of a product best for you.  

MISSED DOSE:  Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose.  <br/>Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.  Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
